The FDA approved AstraZeneca's prescription program on May 15, 2017. It is the first of three new programs to be approved by the FDA. The first is known as the New Drug Program and is the first that will be available to the public.
The first two drugs are AstraZeneca's generic equivalents to the blockbuster generic drug Nexium (esomeprazole). The second is the AstraZeneca-based brand Crestor (rosuvastatin). And the third is AstraZeneca's brand Zetia (tamoxifen) and generic Zithromax (azithromycin). Both have similar indications.
The drug is approved for use in adults over the age of 18 and is approved for use in adults who are on a treatment regimen of either brand name or generic Zithromax or Crestor. AstraZeneca has also been approved for use in children 18 and older.
The drug was first approved by the FDA in September 2017 for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). This is a condition caused by a blockage in the stomach lining. It can cause heartburn, acid reflux and other symptoms such as a persistent or painful stomach pain that persists for more than three days.
There are two types of heartburn: acute and chronic. Acute heartburn occurs when the stomach ulcers become inflamed and painful. Chronic heartburn occurs when the lining of the stomach is destroyed and ulcers heal. AstraZeneca also has a program of over-the-counter medications to help reduce the frequency of acute heartburn.
The first program is known as a Nexium (esomeprazole) program. It was approved for use in children 18 and older with a treatment regimen of either Nexium or Crestor. AstraZeneca has also approved for use in children 18 and older.
The second is known as a generic Zithromax program. It is an over-the-counter medicine that is available only by prescription.
The third program is known as a generic Zithromax program. It is a generic of AstraZeneca. It has been approved for use in children 18 and older. It is used for the treatment of adult GERD, also known as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). The program is also known as a Zithromax program. It is also available by prescription.
In the New Drug Program, the brand name AstraZeneca has the brand-name Zithromax. It was approved by the FDA for the treatment of adult GERD and has a similar indication to Nexium. It has the same side effects as Nexium.

Adults 18 years of age and over: Take 1 tablet daily for at least 7 days and up to 14 days. Swallow the tablet whole with water, with or without food. Do not crush or chew the tablet. Not intended for immediate relief. It may take a few days to achieve maximum results. Do not take for more than 14 days unless directed by a doctor.

Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Centre or medical emergency services available 24 hours a day, anywhere between 49 days and 16 weeks: Monday to Friday. Do not use if seal around drug is broken or if drug has been placed in eyes or skin.
If pregnant or breast-feeding, keep out of reach of children. Do not use in food-sensitive reactions such as breast-feeding time: Esomeprazole. If used for 14 days or longer, make sure to consult your pharmacist or doctor if allergic to esomeprazole, any poly chapter of the apple, any type of proton pump inhibitor (fluclazide, amiodarone, diuretic), any type of proton pump inhibitor (fluclazide, amiodarone, diuretic), any kind of poly chapter of the apple, any kind of antibiotic.
